I began working in technology communications long before email and the internet existed. And I remember when computers were so large that one machine would fill an entire room.

Boy, have times changed.

I am extremely proud to have guided VIPS through such vast technological change over three decades. And equally thrilled to have had so many clients and staff remain by our side through it all.

VIPS is not simply ‘surviving’ the digital age. We are thriving —continually creating the best possible solutions in this ever-changing technological landscape.

But I couldn’t possibly take all the credit. VIPS has stayed relevant for so long because of the dedicated team behind it. Everyone here goes the extra mile to exceed our clients’ expectations and solve their problems – no matter how complex they may first appear.

When I joined VIPS in 1989, I assumed it would be just another stepping stone in my career. But here I am. Nearly three decades later, as an owner of VIPS.

Unlike most people, I never needed to move jobs to seek new challenges. VIPS brings the challenges to me.

The fast evolution of technology has taken VIPS in directions we never imagined. And there’s nothing I love more than talking to customers about their productivity problems and coming up with solutions. I believe that with lots of commitment and a touch of creativity, any problem can be solved.

With the introduction of cloud services, smart devices and customised solutions, so much more is possible with VIPS than ever before.

What’s next is anyone’s guess. But I can’t wait to find out.
